Epic Group has once again raised the bar when it comes to sustainability. Recently, the company’s GTL4 factory was granted the coveted LEED® Platinum certification, which is the highest honour under the world’s premier green building programme. Remarkably, the factory also achieved an unprecedented LEED® rating of 104 points, which sets a remarkable new global standard for sustainable design and construction.
According to Epic Group’s Executive Chairman, Ranjan Mahtani, “Our company is dedicated to operating in an environmentally responsible manner, and the recognition of our GTL4 factory is a testament to that commitment. Achieving LEED® certification with 104 points is a huge milestone, and we will continue to invest in cutting-edge green technologies and practices across all our facilities.”
It is worth noting that GTL3, another Epic Group factory, is also LEED® Platinum certified, and has been recognised as one of Bangladesh’s top 10 green factories. These achievements speak to Epic Group’s unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. From innovative design and energy/water efficiency to the use of renewable energy and sustainable materials, our green factories serve as models for eco-friendly practices that reduce environmental impact and improve workplace quality and productivity.
