Avernita Srivastava

Avernita Srivastava is currently working as Assistant Professor in Apeejay Stya University, Sohna, Haryana. She has an experience of more than 3 years in teaching for Bachelor of Design Technology, M.Sc. & B.Sc. Textiles & Clothing. She has participated and presented papers in various seminars, conferences, and workshops. Thus far, she has six papers published and few under print in celebrated textile journals and proceedings.

Avernita was awarded with ‘Dr. Chitra Arora’s Best Dissertation prize in Textiles and Clothing’ 2007-08, Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi. She was also awarded with special certificate for First Prize in Flames Fashion Show as Designer during Melange- 2006 organised by Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi. She has served as supervisor to M.Sc students for dissertations.
