David T. Parkes

David T. Parkes is currently the Managing Director of Dyehouse Solutions International (www.dyehouses.com). He has over 40 years’ international experience in dyeing and finishing industries of all cellulosic fibres. He spent 30 years working for ICI Plc and Zeneca Plc, including working secondments involving residences in Italy (1 year), Turkey (1 year) and Indonesia (3 years). He has also travelled extensively across the industries of South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, South Africa, Mauritius, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and El Salvador. He has had over 60 papers published at international conferences and symposia. He has spent the last two years building up work experience in India and Pakistan, and is a regular contributor to the leading Asian publication “Colourage”.

He has been described as a resourceful, innovative and self-motivated Technical & Marketing Consultant with a proven reputation as a world-leading authority on reactive dyestuffs.
