Dr. Aurobinda Chatterjee

Dr. Aurobinda Chatterjee acquired his graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Calcutta University, and Computer Science and Engineering from the Florida M. University in USA. His academic excellence shines further with a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Technical University, UP, and with a completion his research work at IIT, Kanpur. He has immense experience in working for reputed firms like Wal-Mart, and Eckerd Corporation, USA, at a senior level for almost 13 years. He is associated with the Indian Institute of Technology since 2000. He is currently working as a Principal Research Engineer and Coordinator of CAD Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He also serves as a Design Consultant to Master of Design Program in IIT, Kanpur.

Dr. Chatterjee"s current research areas in CAD include Geometrical Modeling, Rapid Prototyping, Heritage Preservation and Image Processing. He also has several publications in his credit.p>
