Dr. Vishaka Ashish Karnad

Dr Vishaka Ashish Karnad acquired her M.Sc in Textile Chemistry & Clothing and Ph.D in the Resource Management for Research and Development of Textiles. Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor, Home Science, Textile and Fashion Technology, College of Home Science, Nirmala Niketan. She is also a Chairperson, Ad-hoc Board of Studies in Home Science, and a Member of Academic Council and other allied teaching and research bodies of the University of Mumbai.

Vishaka has published many research papers, and is a member of different college committees namely social service, cultural committee, magazine, organized and is an active participant in several programmes and activities. A multilingual by skill set, music, art & craft, cooking and reading are Vishaka’s favorite hobbies.
