E. Gurumoorthi is currently serving as Manager (Product Integrity & Testing) with the Newtimes Group, one of the leading buying agencies. He has over 18 years of experience in TIC (Textile Inspection Certification) industry. He also looks after the Fabric Manager role.
He is a highly experienced and qualified in Textile Technology from Institute of Textile Technology, Chennai with an MBA and 18 years of professional experience.
He has also studied Apparel Manufacturing Technology, and holds a Diploma in Office Automation and Auto CAD.
He has extensive experience in product integrity, lab management, and product development and has developed key strategies for product development and quality control. Additionally, he has successfully cultivated partnerships with customers and vendors, which has been essential to the success of the projects he has worked on.
As a Senior Manager at Testtex India Laboratories Pvt Ltd Tirupur, he was responsible for overseeing the overall testing operations of the laboratory. They monitored the quality of tests, ensured that all safety regulations were being followed, and maintained the high standards of the laboratory. They also managed the staff, maintained the laboratory equipment, and liaised with clients to ensure their testing needs were met.
During his stint as Product Development Manager at AundeFazeThree Auto Fab Ltd -Dadra-UT of DNH, he was responsible for developing and managing new products and services. He worked with the engineering team to design, test, and manufacture new products. He also worked with the marketing team to promote and market new products and services. He monitored the progress of product development, provided feedback to the engineering team, and managed the product launch process.
At SGS India Pvt. Ltd - Gurgaon, as a Senior Key Account Executive, he was responsible for managing all the textiles and testing related queries of the clients and ensuring that proper testing is done as per the client requirement. He coordinated with the laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely test results and took the necessary steps to resolve any discrepancies. He also provided guidance and advice to the clients on testing requirements and procedures.
