Ela Dedhia

Dr. Ela Manoj Dedhia acquired her MSc and PhD in Home Science specializing in Textile and Clothing. She has further added glory to her academic excellence through diplomas in Textile Designing, Higher Education, Jainology, a Master Trainers INTEL Computer Course, and Computer Aided -Fashion Illustration, Textile Designing & Weaving.

Her profile shines further with 27 years of career experience in the Department of Textiles & Fashion Technology, at the College of Home Science Nirmala Niketan, and as a Visiting faculty in esteemed Fashion Institutes such as NIFT (Mumbai), PVP-SNDT and SOFT (Pune). Currently she is servicing as an Associate Professor, in the Department of Textiles & Fashion Technology, College of Home Science Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai.

Dr. Dedhia has authored two books, and numerous publications sharing her acumen, and experience. She has also presented several research papers in conferences at the national and international level. Deeply interested in Jain philosophy, Dr. Dedhia passes her leisure time in sketching and painting.
