Narendra Rao

Narendra Rao graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology. A renowned textile technologist with 40 years of work experience to credit, he worked in senior level positions as Weaving Manager, Project Manager, General Manager and Vice President in renowned Textile companies like Finlay Group of Mills, Bombay Dyeing Manufacturing Company Ltd. & Thackersay Group of Mills.

Possessing outstanding abilities, he led the team in formulating ISO 9000- 9002 policies and achieving ISO 9001 Certification from BVQI for Bombay Dyeing Mfg.Ltd. He was awarded for his technical excellence in profession by Bombay Dyeing & Mfg.Co Ltd. He has presented more than 15 technical research papers in International and National seminars. He is a reputed member of research team of ATIRA BTRA.

Currently he is working as Textile Consultant and Chartered Engineer and is associated with the Textile Commissioner in benchmarking of weaving preparatory, plain looms, automatic looms, shuttle less looms and 2/1 twisters manufacturing units and formulated 205 subside scheme under Tufs.
