R.S. Balakumar specializes in Garment Technology. Fundamental knowledge gained from the understanding of the pattern making and grading is used to develop new products and processes. His current interests are in development of new fit-for-purpose woven and knitted apparel patterns including active sportswear and next-to-skin apparel, and Fashionable garments for women’s wear.
