The event is a celebration of children’s fashion at its finest
The Children’s Show is organised by the Italian Exhibition Group USA, Inc., the US subsidiary of world leading trade show organiser Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A., a joint stock company listed on Euronext Milan. With over 100 fairs around the globe, it has been organising trade fairs in eight countries for over 50 years. Speaking to Fibre2Fashion, Founder & Show Director Virginia Zingone shares exclusive insight of the Children’s Show NYC.

The Children’s Show NYC is approaching its third edition! What can we expect this time around?

We are thrilled to be gearing up for the third edition of the Children’s Show, happening February 9–10, 2025. Organised by IEG USA and set up by FB
International, this event has become an exciting fixture in the children’s fashion calendar. This time, we are introducing new collaborations, unveiling some surprises, and cementing the show as a must-attend event in New York.

What is the theme for this edition, and what inspired it?

The theme is ‘New York, or Nowhere.’ NYC embodies creativity, culture, and innovation—a perfect backdrop for our children’s fashion event. We are celebrating the city’s iconic energy while spotlighting exquisite collections from around the world. It is about showcasing the heartbeat of New York through the lens of children’s fashion.

Big news about the venue—what is the story there?

This winter, we are moving to a spectacular new location: Chelsea Industrial, right in the heart of Manhattan’s exhibition district. It is a sought-after venue that perfectly aligns with the sophistication and vibrancy of the Children’s Show. Buyers and attendees will enjoy the convenience of its ground-floor layout, making it easier than ever to explore collections.

What is your main goal for the Children’s Show NYC?

Our top priority is fostering meaningful connections between brands and buyers. To streamline this, we have developed a platform on TTT where buyers can register, explore participating brands, and schedule appointments before the event even begins. It is all about making those interactions efficient and impactful.

What will make the upcoming edition truly stand out?

This year, we are upping the ante with curated events like exclusive runway shows, engaging industry talks, and workshops with special guests. The highlight? A fabulous runway fashion show, designed and styled by Aleksandra Ataca, our Creative Director and Junior Style editor. Afterward, we will host a chic cocktail reception, bringing together industry leaders and celebrating the collections in true NYC style.

Any sneak peeks at the brand lineup?

Absolutely! We are excited to feature incredible names like Bugatti Junior, Catimini, Lili Gaufrette, BCBG MAXAZRIA Kids, Sal&Pimenta, Monnalisa, Pureté, Manila Grace, To be too, La Stupenderia, Livly, Fun&Fun, Needle & Thread, Gocco, Stone Kids and so many more. From high-end couture to contemporary styles, we have curated an exceptional selection for this edition.

Why is this event unmissable for children’s fashion enthusiasts?

This is more than a trade fair—it is a celebration of children’s fashion at its finest. From exclusive collections to the unforgettable runway event during NYC Fashion Week (which we proudly call ‘The Kids Fashion Week’), the Children’s Show creates unique opportunities to highlight the importance of this vibrant industry. It is a chance to witness the future of children’s fashion up close!
