Our designs are crafted to stand out and endure over time
Quintus is a design-led fashion label rooted in the idea of constant evolution, blending symbolic storytelling with meticulous craftsmanship and premium materials.
In conversation with Fibre2Fashion, Founder & CEO Grant Garced explains how Quintus’s debut collection, Genesis, establishes a clear brand identity rooted in meaning, versatility, and tangible quality, while setting the stage for its next chapter at NYFW 2026.
What does the name Quintus mean, and how does it reflect your brand philosophy?
Our name means 'Fifth' in Latin, Quintus is a reference to the 'Fifth Dimension,’ an exploration of the idea of always evolving while we are here on Earth, driven by faith that there is a higher existence.
Can you explain the symbolism behind your logo and what it represents for the brand?
Our primary ‘Q’ angel logo is a sign of divine hope, reaching down into our world to offer her hand. Our secondary motif is a double headed lamb which represents duality on this Earth.
When did you launch Quintus and what mindset led to its creation?
Quintus was launched in August 2025. We have been working on the brand for a couple of years now. We wanted to optimise everything before officially launching. The idea of always evolving while on this Earth and our love for fashion is what led to its creation.
What was the core inspiration behind your debut collection?
The core inspiration behind our debut collection is introducing everyone to the brand. It is an introduction to our brand utilising our primary angel logo as well as our secondary double headed lamb motif which symbolises duality throughout the collection.
What sets this first collection apart in terms of design, craft, or narrative?
Our debut collection, ‘Genesis,’ is defined by attention to detail. Its uniqueness lies in the narrative behind fully screen-printed graphics, intricate embroidery, and high-quality garments whose craftsmanship you can genuinely feel.
We focus on the cuts, the premium fabrics, materials, and meticulous construction of the garments that are all made in Los Angeles, creating versatile pieces that are built to last.
Which piece from the debut collection best captures the essence of Quintus, and why?
A key highlight of our first collection is the limited run of 18 special-edition pieces across each T-shirt, hoodie, sweatpants, and our vegan leather pants. These garments feature custom-made luxury Riri zippers from Switzerland, designed to offer versatility in how each piece can be worn.
These ‘evolving’ zipper designs reflect the essence of Quintus: unique, high-quality, wearable pieces crafted with intention.
What was the biggest challenge in translating your creative vision into a finished collection?
The journey came with several challenges, but the biggest was finding a reliable manufacturer who could truly match our vision and bring our ideas to life.
Despite this, we stayed committed to pushing forward and doing whatever it took to launch the brand. This is our passion, and we are excited about what the future holds.
With the debut now unveiled, what is the next chapter for Quintus?
We are looking forward to presenting at NYFW February 2026 with The Bureau Fashion Week.
How do you see consumer expectations evolving in the luxury and design-led fashion space today?
We believe consumers want unique, stand-out pieces they feel proud to own and be associated with. Beyond the product, they want to buy into a world or belief system.
They are looking for stories, brands, and designs that reflect their identity and values and create a deeper sense of connection.
What role do craftsmanship and storytelling play in building relevance for emerging fashion labels?
Craftsmanship is everything to us, and we take pride in creating well-thought-out, unique, high-quality pieces. Narrative, story, and meaning matter deeply, but they only work if the product lives up to them. You can have the strongest concept in the world, but if a garment feels cheap in hand, the story instantly falls apart.
