New bale opener for blowroom, carding machine promoted at ITMA
Family-owned German textile machinery manufacturer Trützschler operates globally with production facilities and service branches in all large textile centres. It specialises in the development and production of machines, installations and accessories for spinning preparation, and the non-woven and man-made fibre industry. Marketing manager Michael Van Den Dolder discusses the latest offing in intelligent carding and describes the experience at ITMA 2019.

Please tell us in brief about your company.

Trutzschler was started in 1888 and we mainly supply spinning preparation machines like bale opener, blowroom, carding and combing machines. We also offer non-woven related carding machinery and card clothing.

What new technologies did you exhibit at ITMA 2019? Please share a few details.

At ITMA, we especially promoted a new bale opener for the blowroom and a new carding machine. The new bale opener is like a portal and does not need much space, while also offering better blending as the opening unit is larger than the earlier model. The new card machine is an intelligent card, in which the carding activity can be optimised.

To how many countries do you export?

We must be exporting to over 100 countries.

Since how many years has your company been participating at ITMA?

I think we have been taking part in ITMA since its inception.
