Why are textile inspection companies important in the market? How do you rate consumer awareness with regards to textile inspection?

Textile Inspections, if properly conducted, creates an environment of reliability between buyers and suppliers. Buyer´s requirements are covered to a larger extent when goods are inspected, instead of dropping them directly to the market. It results in less claims and more satisfaction of end consumers. Of course, not every inspection company is on the same reliability level, but most of us put our efforts to increase final consumer needs.

Because of growing awareness about sustainability in the international market, the need for textile inspection companies have grown to some extent, although it is difficult to know to what extent as there are many other aspects of international trading that have a great influence on our business. Market awareness with regards to internationally accepted standards for quality is satisfactory at the current stage. Inspection companies have a great opportunity to increase their business by increasing their effort of informing people about why they have to be aware and of course in some points to cover international quality standards.  In particular, we should insist on the proven fact that being careful on quality standards always leads to growth of business. Market is of course placing everyone in their place of competitiveness, as end consumers are pushing in a global and extremely challenging market.

Textile inspections are required the most in developed countries as for now; at least, this is my company experience. The most likely reason is the strongest culture of awareness among end consumers with regard to quality performance of textiles in general. In developed countries, people are day by day getting more concerned about quality aspects like presence or absence of certain forbidden chemicals dangerous for health, or durability and many others, placing appearance in second level of interest.  In the meantime, in developing countries most important aspects still remain appearance and price of textile goods. This will change very fast as the market is becoming a global place, especially because social networking websites are making big changes on all end consumers.
