What is present state of knitwear industry in India?
World market in knitwear is around $18-20 Billion with India's share merely 7-8% only. Knitwear business has been growing at a good pace, but recently, closing of knitting units in Tirupur is a great set back to Indian knitting industry. Presently, the main challenges sector is facing are upshots of frequent rise in yarn prices.
