Job Description
Pump house operation -Extensive knowledge of pump house.
Shall be perform to do pumps activities and run the system (Main pump, jockey pump, Diesel pump) consistently without failure in assigned shifts.
Fire fighting -To perform firefighting as and when required in case of emergency situation occurs.
-extensive knowledge of fire hydrant, hose reel and all types of fire extinguishers maintenance and operation.
PTW system Well versed with work permit system, Identify the hazard, evaluation and removal of the same before issue the permits.
Training -Able to give training theoretical and practical fire demonstration as and when assigned.
Miscellaneous - Well versed with Type of PPEs, all type of mock drills, unsafe act, unsafe condition and hazard identification capabilities.
Fire Alarm system, fire hydrant system and Sprinkler system basic knowledge and their operation information is essential.
Consistency Pump house must be working across 24*7 hours and logbook must be filed in each and every shift by him.
Fire fighting At any point of time system must be healthy and no any NC will be given due to abnormality of hydrant line and extinguishers.
No incident No any incident/near miss/accident will be happen due to loopholes in work permit system.
Training He must be able to do training to each plant (Composites, Andrew, TPD & Hostel) as once in a month.
Audits There must be not raise the NC by external or internal auditor due to negligence in their work.
