Job Description
Contact Mills and Suppliers based on the buyer requirement.
Interact with marketing department to develop the required fabric and accounts to settle bills.
Costing for fabric and making arrangements for fabric.
Enquiring on technical specific, count and constructions, cost/meter, production lead time and technical problems.
Initial negotiation, initial buyer approvals on color, pattern and design, fabric flows and deliveries.
Preproduction approvals through merchants, bulk production, lot approvals and shade approvals.
Plan for the necessary mode of transportation.
To make efficient use of resources
To strategize innovative ideas to simplify process and make it more efficient
To generate MIS reports and provide the same to the concerned departments.
