Job Description
Analyzing the Import sales contract and making Import Purchase order
Sending dispatch schedule to overseas supplier for doing the shipment on time and taking follow-ups for the same.
Arranging LC from bank if final sales contract is under LC terms.
Co-ordination with supplier for Import shipping documents and scrutinizing the draft documents to make ease for customs clearance activity.
Co-ordination with CHA/shipping line/Air lines/Freight forwarder/transporter etc.
Also co-coordinating with plant/store person for making the MRC generation of arrival of the container and keep tracking of actual qty received.
Updating all expenses with regarding to the shipment
Arranging payment of suppliers and Indian vendors say shipping line/freight forwarder/clearing agent/transporter/surveyor etc.
Providing Transit insurance certificate and arranging survey of all shipment and getting claim for damaged goods.
Dealing with Government Authority
Sending intimation to supplier of short/excess qty of all shipment and filling shortage claim if any received.
Sending prior intimation to CHA/transporter/surveyor/plant for smooth process.
Handling licensing work like EPCG, MEIS Advance licence etc.
Dealing with High Seas, Bonding, Ex-bonding consignment.
Making High seas report and arrival status report on monthly Basis.
Dealing with Air shipments, Sea shipment and Dry Port shipment.
Handling ISO tank shipments and containerized bulk shipments
