Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Graphic Designer is to conceptualize, high-quality designs for apparel and accessories (scarves / shawls) in accordance with customer specifications. Prepare art for production in both screen-print, and digital prints.
A strong understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adob Creative
Tasks and responsibilities
Sets up and completes artwork for all orders received and approved.
Supports the Production department by manipulating/ changing current art, creating new art or communicating with customer service changes for Production
Collaborates with other departments to accommodate customer art requests.
Solves art related printing and/or digital issues.
Completes any tasks as assigned by a supervisor
Experience in apparel and accessories (scarves / shawls) graphic designs.
knowledge of screen printing process,
Knowledge of apparel graphic design process: concept development through production.
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design.
Strong understanding of design principles, and strong sense & understanding of color.
Hand-drawing and illustration capabilities.
Ability to think conceptually with creative vision.
Understand DPI and LPI and Mesh counts.
Extensive research on separation and design.
Ability to send in jobs for screen print, and digital prints
