Job Description

Carryout compliance audits
Communicate audit findings to plant heads / unit heads in a professional, objective and clear manner
Timely submission of audit reports to the reporting manager
Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of audit
Treat privileged information with discretion and ensuring all audit related documents and results remain confidential and well-guarded
Investigating accident / incident and corrective / preventive action (CAPA)
Preparing training modules & conducting compliance related training to employees
Playing significant role in ensuring statutory compliance
Take initiative in Identifying & rectifying the unsafe conditions and acts
Take initiative in addressing, near miss cases and first aid cases promptly and identifying root causes by providing the better solution with available resources
Implementation of waste management system and reduction measures and control
Inspection and disposal of hazardous waste

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate or Post Graduate inidustrial safety or Diploma in electrical engineering / industrial engineering with relevant experience of 5 to 6 years.
Qualified Lead Auditor is an added advantage
Candidate should have knowledge on personal protective equipment (PPEs), electrical safety, hazard identification, Ergonomics, lock out tag out procedure (LOTO), emergency preparedness etc.,
Candidate should have knowledge on calibration of safety equipment like pressure gauges, switches and temperature gauges, lifts, hydraulic stackers, compressor and safety ladders
Candidate should be capable of independently taking decisions
Candidate must have good communication skills in English (written and verbal), sound knowledge in MS office and two wheeler driving license
