Job Description
The Business Development Executive will be accountable for identifying new business opportunities to drive growth of the business. We are looking for self-driven, aggressive people who are comfortable working on new products and new customers rather than repeat sales only.• Carry out market research through industry contacts, publications, trade events, news to identify sales opportunities for new products• Reach out directly for prospective sales• Prioritize among sales leads based on monthly sales plan, opportunity requirements / pre-requisites / financials, and internal priorities• Negotiate to close sale and draw in resources from within the company, if required • Manage sale requirements including test reports / certifications, system entries, collections etc.• Constantly upgrade your business development techniques• Act as face of the organization, build the brand of the company in the industry, vendor and customer community• Actively upgrade own technical knowledge in a product domain to grow as expert on product, market and industry trend• Willing to travel 70-80% of time and learn about new products and segment• Build and manage leads pipeline to exceed quarterly sales goals
