Job Description

Fabric sourcing from countries mainly china & other countries.
Complete responsibility of fabric & accessories merchandising & sourcing from query till final garment shipment.
Price negotiations & follow up of lab dips / production fabrics / lab tests as per requirements, making week wise T & A and regular follow ups
Sourcing new suppliers overseas & visit to fairs overseas if required

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate or Diploma in textile with relevant experience of 4 to 9 years as a fabric sourcing merchandiser / manager for imported fabrics.
    Candidate having previous work experience from a reputed export house will be preferable. Min 4-8 years of work experience with reputed fabric mills / export houses.
    Candidate must have prior experience of handling imported fabrics (chinese mills) and price negotiation skills
    Candidate should have sound technical knowledge of woven and knit fabrics, market intelligence of fabrics, knowledge of testing parameters, coordination of lab dips, shade lots, chasing mills for delivery & quality issues, Hands on experience on documentation and L/C requirements for exports & imports
    Also imports for trims material required for making garments like snap buttons, zips and elastics etc.
    Mathematical, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, decision making, computer skills, written communications, self motivated, detail oriented
