Job Description

Sourcing of fabric & related accessories for product development
Development of new fabric samples as per buyer requirement
Sourcing woven and knitted fabric at competitive prices so as to meet the buyers requirements
Negotiations with mills and suppliers
Correspondence with buyer/buying houses on fabric related issues
Monitoring on approvals for lab dip, bulk lot & pre-production
Follow up with production department at various stages
Coordination with Q.A department regarding quality parameter& different finishes of fabric
Co-ordination between production & planning department for timely delivery
Implemented lean concept & quality systems for fabric and shown improvements
