Job Description

Grow sales for the market (domestic and export) by driving resources to attain sales and profitability targets for melange and dyed yarn
Manage customer relationships with key customers of melange and dyed yarn and ensure that customer needs are studied and the requirements communicated to the relevant functions in the Business and the Home Textiles Division
Review inquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensure speedy submission of bids for melange and dyed yarn
Institute and monitor systems for tracking of inquiries
Responding to inquiries in market (domestic and international)
Review/recommend/suggest pricing depending on the value of the deal and the quantity of purchase
Planning and distribution of sales targets F.O. wise/ SKU wise/ Distributor wise/ Route wise
Tracking daily sales, performing gap analysis vis--vis targets and take corrective actions
Ensuring achievement of targeted MOM growth and YTD growth targets
Ensuring special efforts are put in the major initiative/ Focus Brand/ SKU of the month
Sending various tracking reports to Head Office like DSRs etc
Commercial aspects of sales of melange and dyed yarn stocks and overdues
Ensuring improvement in distribution of key products
Feedback on competition in market
