Job Description

Understand business requirements and review annual /weekly/ monthly sourcing plan based on
annual business and production plans
Evaluate feasibility of alternatives (outsourcing/contracting etc.) to ensure timely delivery and cost
optimization.
Plan for the procurement of raw materials and direct variables, logistics and shipping costs within
budget.
Develop plans to improve control of inventory and on time delivery to the customer
Build partnerships with preferred vendors (Rm suppliers, logistic vendors and shipping partners)
through quantity commitments.
Liaise with global / local vendors to secure competitive bids and availability
Drive specific initiatives aimed at cost reduction in the supply chain. E.g. supporting wider business
improvement initiatives.
Ensure on time, within quality and cost procurement for projects
Settlement of vendor claims and dispute resolution
Monitor the cash flow by collecting & consolidating cash flows of individual contractors/consultants
and update the cash flow requirements on regular basis
