Job Description
Secure quality of bulk fabrics and soft home products. Individual should have 3 - 4 years of work experience in fabric quality procurement with knowledge of hand loom and natural fabrics. Should have worked with vendors across major fabric clusters. Support with regard to bulk fabric approvals & rejections at QC and PSC & communication of the same to PSC / PH / procurement team and vendors where required. Support in verification of IDF content. Also, conduct vendor visits to ensure that our fabric quality standards are communicated down the production chain and effectively implemented.Resolve operational and quality issues at Fab India dyeing plants and fabric vendors set up for Fab India production. Action & resolve fabric related issues in QC head absence and support QC head in resolving fabric related issues raised by stores / markets.
