Job Description
Cutting Section: Observing cutting machines, how to handle the machines, what are the PPE (Personal Protective Equipments) required.Sewing Section: Eye guard, finger guard, Machine pulley guard, machine belt guard, under labeling rubber mat.Finishing Section: Giving awareness about PPE, goggles, Mask, Hand gloves.Washing Section: Observation of rubber mat, PPE washing machine stain remover, nozzle, boiler.Ironing Section: Cable wire, rubber mat, iron box.Maintenance Section: Diesel room, panel board, switches board compressor room air nozzle, PPE ear muff.Checking for any damage wires, switch boards, fans, lights, naked wires, fire extinguisher, vacation path, emergency light, emergency door, fire alarm bell etc.Ensuring that health and safety processes, timely corrective action are established and in placeReview internal safety practices, risks and trends and then taking appropriate.STP operation and functionality checksCreation of awareness among employee:Giving awareness to employees about PP Equipments mask, metal gloves, electrical wires, panel board, and switch boards, exhaust fans, lights. First aid training should be given to the employees i.e. 10% from external and 30% should be given awareness in the floor.Conducting safety committees meeting once in 3 monthsRe-filling of the fire extinguisher, to see that it is in proper condition and kept in the proper place, fire extinguisher should be filled once in a year and it should be given for service once in 3 months.Fire fight training should be conducted 10% from external, 30% from floor for safety awareness.Conducting fire evacuation drill once in 2 months.Functionality of fire hydrant systemMaintaining and record keeping of wrap audit findings & complaints regarding security, canteen, drinking water, environment, health and safetyEnsuring workplace is WRAP compliant at all times
