Description : The suede sole is more high maintenance than the other Bleyer soles, but it pays you back with extra slippiness on the dance floor while still providing traction. The nap of the suede can be brought up with a wire brush made for this purpose for more traction or it can pack down for more slippiness. If you want to keep the nap, don't wear these shoes off the dance floor and try not to let them get wet - avoid those spilled drinks on the floor. But if you want a real slippy sole, let them get packed down and it will be just like a leather sole. The shoes are constructed in soft flexible leather and are surprisingly light on your feet. They allow you to use your feet fully in versatile moves, yet they are strong and protective enough for hours of vigorous dancing. Unless you are a real expert, we do not think that the suede sole is appropriate for air steps and acrobatic dancing because you will not have sufficient grip on the floor when you need it. If you are planning to do air steps, we recommend the same shoe, the rock'n'roll with the Bleyer special sole.
