India Pesticides Limited (BSE: 543311; NSE: IPL), one of the fastest growing agro-chemical companies in terms of volume of technical manufacturing (“IPL” or the “Company”), is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of the next phase of backward integration for the intermediate (PEDA) of Pretilachlor Technical. This milestone is a crucial step in expanding the company’s manufacturing capabilities and improving overall production efficiency.

The Company has successfully increased its installed capacity of PEDA to 6,000 metric tonnes (MT) per annum, supported by continued investments in in-house Research and Development initiatives. This capacity expansion positions India Pesticides to better meet the growing demand for Pretilachlor Technical, both domestically and internationally.

Further, the Company intends to increase its PEDA capacity by 2,500 MT per annum, with the target to reach this new capacity by the end of Q2 FY26. Upon completion, the total PEDA capacity will reach approximately 8,500 MT per annum.

This expansion initiative is aligned with the Government of India's “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” program, focusing on strengthening domestic manufacturing and reducing dependency on imports
