Claudio Taiana has succeeded Marco Borioli as the new president of MarediModa, the trade event that aims to promote Made in Europe trims and fabrics. Taiana, one of MarediModa founders, had previously served a term as president. In his new term, he will remain president for a two-year period till May 2021. Borioli served three terms as president.

“I would like to thank Marco Borioli for the excellent work he has done over the years, which has led our trade show to grow further in terms of approval, visitors and appeal. He has always pursued the spirit of our mission: the enhancement and promotion of Made in Europe trims and fabrics. In this regard, I would remind you that from 13 to 15 July we will be present in Miami for the Swim Week to present a preview of our collections,” said Taiana after assuming charge.

The next edition of MarediModa will be held in the usual location at the Palais des Festival in Cannes from November 5-7, 2019. (RKS)
