Turkiye's turnover index jumps 37.5% YoY in September 2025

Turkiye's total turnover index rose 37.5 per cent YoY in September 2025, led by strong gains in trade (41.6 per cent), services (37 per cent), and industry (30.5 per cent), according to TurkStat.
The manufacturing sub-index increased 30.1 per cent.
On a monthly basis, total turnover grew 4.6 per cent, driven mainly by trade, which rose 7.7 per cent, while services and industry climbed modestly.

Turkiye’s total turnover index (2021=100), encompassing the industry, trade, and services sectors, rose by 37.5 per cent year-on-year in September 2025, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).

Trade recorded the highest annual increase at 41.6 per cent, followed by services at 37 per cent, industry at 30.5 per cent. The manufacturing component within industry grew 30.1 per cent during the period, TurkStat said in a press release.

On a monthly basis, total turnover advanced 4.6 per cent from August 2025. Trade once again drove growth with a 7.7 per cent rise, while services and industry increased by 1.9 per cent and 2.8 per cent, respectively.
