Fertitta is a renowned owner of over 500 restaurants, the Houston Rockets and Golden Nugget Casinos, not to mention star of the television show ‘Billion Dollar Buyer’.
“I feel honoured and elated to have been chosen for Inc Magazine’s Founders Project. I am so appreciative that I was selected as one of only 40 founders from across the US and I greatly value Inc’s guidance and pairing me with a baller mentor,” Eddings said.
Eddings launched Accel Lifestyle this year. Using proprietary Prema fabric that she herself developed in a lab, the line - with its antimicrobial properties - is more than just fitness apparel. It is ideal for many other applications and settings - from hospital garments for patients to shirts for chefs and waitstaff in the restaurant business.
Eddings said Fertitta has already provided guidance as she looks to pitch Accel’s line of anti-stink, antimicrobial activewear to major retailers.
“Being a relatively new entrepreneur, having Fertitta as my mentor has already been so incredible,” Eddings said. “He has given me invaluable advice related to retail, scaling, and the profound importance of focusing on every single detail. I look forward to continuing our relationship and learning from one of the best.”
“It is an incredible feeling to be featured in November’s issue of Inc Magazine. I will be forever grateful for this honour and I hope to inspire other entrepreneurs to work hard, be kind and not give up,” added Eddings.
Accel Lifestyle is the first ethical activewear brand for people who sweat and want to smell fresh. Combining proprietary science, fashionable fitness apparel for women and men, and an ethical supply chain, Accel Lifestyle is creating a movement for positive change. Accel’s mission is to empower people and inspire them to ‘Accel’erate their lives by promoting confidence, making healthy choices and helping others.
In honour of its 40th birthday, Inc Magazine launched the Founders Project, which pairs 40 hero mentors - all of whom are top founders, academics, or experts - with 40 early-stage entrepreneurs. The mentors will provide several hours’ worth of advice and expertise with their mentees and help them reach the next level.
