Amazon starts selling fashion, sportswear in Brazil

Amazon recently announced the launch of fashion and sports stores in its Brazilian marketplace. With a selection of prestigious names and national stylists, Amazon Moda and Amazon Sports offer 300,000 products from hundreds of brands, such as Havaianas, Cia. Marítima, Farm, Caloi, Penalty and Garmin, and designers like Reinaldo Lourenço and Jack Vartanian.

"We are very excited about the announcement of Fashion and Sports stores in Brazil. We work hard to ensure our marketplace has a great catalogue in both stores, serving a diverse range of customers,” an Amazon press statement quoted Otávio Alves, general manager of Amazon Moda for Brazil, as saying.

Amazon Moda also offers shoes, bags and backpacks, sunglasses, jewellery, watches and more. Some of the categories available are haute couture, new Brazilian stylists, national and international big brands, plus-size, vegan and sustainable.

Amazon Sports offers products related to soccer, camping, boxing and swimming covering brands like Fila, Mizuno, Kikos, ProForm, Speedo, Arena, Deuter and Umbro. (DS)
