Coach names Selena Gomez as brand ambassador

Marketer of luxury accessories and lifestyle brands Coach Inc. has named actor and singer Selena Gomez has its brand ambassador and to begin with, Gomez will appear in Coach’s fall 2017 fashion campaign. In addition, Gomez will be associated with the Coach Foundation, which works towards empowering teen girls from under resourced communities.

According to the company, Coach has a long tradition of innovation in handcrafted women’s and men’s accessories and is now also returning to its business of leather accessories.

“I am especially looking forward to getting to know the Coach team as well as becoming involved in the Foundation's support of Step Up,” Selena Gomez said. “On top of all that, collaborating on a piece with Stuart Vevers for next fall makes this beyond special to me."

“The woman I design for is authentic, honest and possesses a romantic charm mixed with a cool, confident attitude,” creative director at Coach Stuart Vevers also said. “Selena embodies all of these qualities perfectly.” (AR)
