Export order index of clothing sector surges

From the perspective of PMI index up to October, new shipment orders of textile and garment enterprises were in process of rapid recovery, in particular the clothing export sector.

New order index of apparel industry touched 68.9 in October, hitting a new high since 2008; export order index also rose from 47.9 to 61.3.

The textile industry was relatively slow in recovery, but the industry has risen sharply from the low level at the beginning of this year and at present it is basically at what can be called a historical average.
