Cycling clothing producer Garneau has won the Polartec Apex Award for the second time, with the company bagging the 2016 award for its Cove Hybrid Jacket and Rocket Skirt. The Polartec Apex Award is an annual design competition, which goes to the finest Polartec based products and winners are selected based on skill and creativity with Polartec fabrics.

The Cove Hybrid Jacket uses Polartec Alpha insulation panels combined with stretchable inserts and is perfect for winter riding. The jacket is highly breathable, lightweight and warm layer that does not overheat.

While the Rocket Skirt also made from Polartec Alpha insulation, is perfect for pulling over tights for added warmth in cold conditions or after training.

“We are proud to collaborate with such an innovative fabric technology partner as Polartec. We share a passion to design products that improve our enjoyment of the outdoor sports we love,” Katy Bond, director of apparel at Garneau said. (AR)
