Inspired by the 'Textures in Textronic' theme, Gayou Lace is riding the wave of the return of floral lace to lingerie. Its 'Passionate Flowers' collection utilises subtle yarn tension effect to create flowers with a natural touch. Combining different textures, densities and weights Gayou Lace presents these in delicate and poetic tones (cornflower, pearl, jade, coral, etc.) for a romantic and vibrant rendering of nature.
'Painted Lace' is lace as a new art form. Gayou uses lace as a backdrop on which it 'paints' artful brushstrokes of colour, using a high-tech digital printing technique. The chosen design is placed on the lace with close precision. In addition, digital printing allows a wide range of colour tones and shades; a perfect strong visual addition to entice and intrigue. For autumn-winter 2018/19 Gayou Lace has taken us to a Luxuriant Garden, reflected by vibrant tones like garnet red, blood orange and powerful sapphire.
To meet the needs of consumers who love lace but seek invisible underwear, Gayou Lace is launching its 'Dynamic Textured Lace' range, smooth and soft to the touch, yet visually and technically strong for both fashion and fuller figure. A lace that performs as a fabric, yet stays true to the rich textures and depth of lace. As for colour, the lace maker invites us into an enchanting and magical world, full of gold buttons, pumpkins, lapis lazuli etc.
For women who desire the comfort and touch of natural fabrics, Gayou Lace brings its new 'Cotton Feel' line, in polyamide and elastane. With their soft and natural-looking fibres, the laces are as light as a second skin, and adapt to all lingerie items. They come in a wide range of patterns that are sometimes floral, sometimes geometric and sometimes animal-print. The emphasis is on dark or 'nude' colours imbued with mystery, like misty grey, pink zephyr and slate green. (KD)
