Global exports of women's blouses and shirt-blouses down

The global trade of women’s blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses has been declining since the last year. Total trade has dropped by 11.62 per cent from 2017 to 2019, according to the data from TexPro. The global trade of women’s blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses was $26,238.49 million in 2017, which moved down to $23,190.59 million in 2019.
 
The total trade of women’s blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses has reduced 12.66 per cent in 2019 over the previous year and is anticipated to slash to $19,349.46 million in 2022 with a rate of 16.56 per cent from 2019, according to Fibre2Fashion's market analysis tool TexPro.
 
The global export of women’s blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses was $11,553.82 million in 2017, which declined 12.89 per cent to $10,064.07 million in 2019. Total exports diminished 13.30 per cent in 2019 over the previous year and is expected to curtail to $8,095.10 million in 2022 with a rate of 19.56 per cent from 2019.
 
The global import value of women’s blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses was $14,684.67 million in 2017, which decreased 10.61 per cent to $13,126.52 million in 2019. Total imports cut by 12.16 per cent in 2019 over the previous year and is expected to weaken to $11,254.35 million in 2022 with a rate of 14.26 per cent from 2019.
 
China ($1,684.23 million), India ($1,034.55 million), Spain ($891.28 million) and Germany ($771.93 million) were the key exporters of women’s blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses across the globe in 2019, together comprising 43.54 per cent of total export. These were followed by Turkey ($624.11 million), Italy ($622.90 million) and Indonesia ($612.92 million).
 
From 2015 to 2019, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export value, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Germany (27.34 per cent) and Spain (2.39 per cent).
 
US ($2,376.36 million), Germany ($1,207.24 million), Japan ($1,010.86 million), Spain ($901.98 million) and France ($865.05 million) were the key importers of women’s blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses across the globe in 2019, together comprising 48.46 per cent of total import. These were followed by UK ($833.88 million) and Netherlands ($580.75 million).
 
From 2015 to 2019, the most notable rate of growth in terms of import value, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Spain (3.15 per cent) and France (2.62 per cent).
