Goode Partners supporting Marolina Outdoor

Goode Partners, New York-based private equity firm, is supporting Marolina Outdoor, a maker of performance apparel for fishing and hunting enthusiasts. Goode Partners has completed a growth equity investment in the Charleston, South Carolina based designer and marketer of the Huk and Nomad brands serving those interested in fishing and hunting respectively.
“We’re excited to be part of the next chapter of Marolina’s growth plan. In a truly short period of time, Ben Verner and the other founders of the company have built two exciting brands that have established an incredibly loyal and growing following throughout the US,” said David Oddi, partner of Goode Partners.
Ben Verner, CEO and a co-founder of Marolina commented “We are excited to be partnering with the Goode Partners family. Marolina was founded in 2014 by Ben Verner, Josh Reed, Jason Hart and Doc Reed to address a need for authentic, performance apparel that would meet the needs of fishing and hunting enthusiasts. The Huk and Nomad brands have expanded to include a full line of technical shirts, jackets, footwear and other accessories. It has been adopted by some of the leading icons in the fishing and hunting worlds including Kevin Van Dam and Drury Outdoors. The brands are sold through leading sporting goods retailer, independent specialty stores and directly to consumers though hukgear.com and nomadoutdoor.com. (SV)
