US clothing brand Kenneth Cole has replaced Reliance Brands with Mumbai-based Brandzstorm India as its partner for designing, manufacturing, distributing and retailing its products in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Its 10-year master licensing partnership with Brandzstorm India aims to cover 100 crore people and open about 10 stores in India by 2020.

Two flagship stores in Mumbai and Delhi are likely to be opened by the end of this year, according to a report in a top Indian business daily.
The deal includes different Kenneth Cole product categories like men and women’s apparel, handbags, footwear and travel gear. Watches and fragrances are excluded.

Besides Kenneth Cole, Brandzstorm has also signed a long-term exclusive master licensing agreement with Giordano International for apparel, footwear and accessories, according to Brandzstorm managing director Ujjval Saraf.

The firm, which started operations in 2009, also has exclusive tie-ups with Furla, Tonino Lamborghini and Steve Madden. (DS)
