Monte Carlo brand, mainly known for its winterwear, is planning to expand its range of products to become an all-season apparel brand. It is also eyeing a larger footprint across India. The company will focus on introducing a comprehensive range of apparel made of cotton and cotton-blended fabrics to be used in all seasons, thus expanding the all-season product range.

Monte Carlo will also strengthen its operations across India, said the company during an investor presentation. It will expand its presence in southern and western markets of India. The company will also expand its range of kidswear and home furnishings to reduce the seasonality impact.

About 46 per cent of the company’s revenue comes from the Northern region and close to 30 per cent comes from East. Western, Central and Southern India collectively account for 24 per cent of Monte Carlo’s revenue.

The company earned a total revenue of Rs 534.3 crore and close to 58.1 per cent of it came from the cotton segment. Winter products accounted for 28.1 per cent of the sales, while kids wear and home furnishings earned 4.78 per cent and 9.1 per cent, respectively.

Monte Carlo has 231 excusive outlets in India and also sells its products through 2,300 MBOs like Shoppers Stop. The company will also sell its products through its online portal and other e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Jabong, Snapdeal and more, according to media reports. (KD)
