Alvanon sizes up global consumers at IAF World Apparel Convention

The world's most recognised authority on fashion 'fit', Ed Gribbin, president of apparel sizing and fit expert, Alvanon Inc, will reveal how brands and retailers can maximise consumer 'fit' satisfaction on a global scale at the International Apparel Federation's 27th world apparel convention being held at the Grand Velas Hotel in Puerto
Vallarta, Mexico from the 13th to 16th October 2011. Organised in association with the 35th National Congress of CANAIVE, the Mexican apparel industry association, the convention theme is 'Transformation of Fashion Business'. In addition to speaking at the convention, Alvanon is a principle event sponsor.
In his presentation entitled 'Anthropomorphic Analysis: How to make fashion fit', Ed Gribbin will describe how retailers and brands have historically determined their 'fit' and sizing strategies and how recent size studies and body scanning have revolutionized that process over the past ten years.
Ed Gribbin will describe what the data from various countries and regions tells us about consumers and how the fashion industry is benefitting from understanding the research and analysis and applying it to their businesses. He will also provide a roadmap for how fashion businesses today can capitalize on fit to gain market share and competitive advantage.
