Carmine Petruzello becomes President, Perry Ellis Division

Perry Ellis International Inc. announced the appointment of Carmine Petruzello as President of its Perry Ellis division, effective November 28, 2011. Reporting to Oscar Feldenkreis, Vice-Chairman, President, and COO of Perry Ellis International, Mr. Petruzello will be based out of the Company's New York City office and will be responsible for all aspects of Perry Ellis Menswear including sales, merchandising, operations, and further developing the brand's global distribution strategy.

Petruzello joins Perry Ellis International, Inc. from Buffalo David Bitton where he most recently served as President of its U.S. division, responsible for all domestic wholesale operations. Prior to Buffalo David Bitton, Mr. Petruzello held several senior-level positions with companies such as Liz Claiborne Inc., and Tommy Hilfiger.
