Russell to outfit players of Semper Fidelis Bowl

When 100 of the nation's elite high school football players hit the field this January for the inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, they will be outfitted in top of the line uniforms and equipment that rival the threads worn by today's hottest teams.

JuniorRank Sports, in partnership with the United States Marine Corps, has announced that athletic uniform, apparel and equipment supplier, Russell Brands has signed on as the official uniform and equipment sponsor for the highly-anticipated East versus West gridiron matchup, slated to take place on Jan. 3, 2012 at Chase Field in Phoenix.

"The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is an incredible opportunity for Russell to partner with an organization that promotes teamwork, strong values and positive character both on and off the field," said Gary Barfield, executive vice president, Russell Brands, LLC.

"We're proud to provide uniforms and equipment for these elite players who represent not just the next generation of college and professional football standouts but also our country's future leaders."

As the official uniform and apparel sponsor, Russell will outfit all 100 players with the latest innovative RUSSELL ATHLETIC sports apparel for the inaugural bowl game. Providing a full line of branded Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl gear, Russell will provide all game day, practice, workout and travel apparel for players, in addition to branded apparel and headwear for coaches and sideline personnel.

Russell branded apparel will also be available for fan purchase at the event and on the bowl game website. In addition, Russell will provide SPALDING balls and BIKE equipment for use during the game.

"When our Semper Fi All-Americans run out onto the field for the first time wearing these uniforms, they're going to look and feel like true all stars," said Shaon Berry, Semper Fidelis Bowl founder and CEO of JuniorRank Sports. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, airing on CBS Sports Network Jan. 3, 2012, at 4 p.m. MST, from Phoenix, showcases athletes who embody the Marine Corps values of honor, courage and commitment.
