Balmain launches its classy S/S 2012 collection

Balmain S/S 2012 collection is classy and has a country-and-western star look of the '60s, mixed with “something a bit Mexican, bullfighter's costumes, and wallpaper from Vegas.”
The designer has tempered the look of the collection with a well-thought out use of chambray, sweatshirts, and sharply cut pants in suede and leather - thus respecting the couture heritage of Balmain. A closer look shows that even the pale denim is printed with faded baroque curliques, while the white jeans employ embossed cotton and white snakeskin.
The geometric, gold beading smothered bejeweled fringed jackets and tiny dresses have been created by an expert designer - perfectly in sync with this summer's feeling for deco.
