Première Vision Prize at Hyères Fashion Festival

For the second consecutive year Première Vision, the world's leading fashion-textiles show, is an official partner of the Hyères Fashion Festival, running from 27 to 30 April. Under the aegis of President Yohji Yamamoto, the Première Vision Prize, worth 10,000 euros, will be awarded to one of ten talented finalists.
In addition to the prize that bears its name, Première Vision has committed, through this partnership, to lend its support to the young designers, and provide a real accompaniment to the 10 candidates selected by the Jury earlier this year.
To this end, the finalists received a privileged welcome last 14 February at the Parc d'Expositions Paris Nord-Villepinte by some one hundred exhibitors from Première Vision, Expofil and ModAmont. Among these visitors will be the successor to Céline Méteil, the first winner of the Première Vision Prize in 2011.
All ten finalists enjoyed an exceptional welcome from exhibitors, who work with the biggest fashion houses and brands and who offered to support these young international designers on the road to success. The Hyères Festival is an undeniable stepping-stone and a boost their careers.

Within the framework of the '11th International Textile and Fashion Conferences', the Hyères Festival will welcome Première Vision to a discussion of the topic: 'Know-how: an antidote to standardization' As a reminder: last September, Première Vision launched the 'Maison d'Exceptions', a specific area at the show dedicated to Ultimate creativity.
Participants in the roundtable, moderated by Pascal Gautrand, fashion designer and consultant, will include: Dominique Barbiery, Director, Paraffection; Marie-Hélène Massé Bersani, Director of the Production Department, Mobilier National; Jean-Pierre Ollier, Textile designer and embroiderer, Atelier Jean-Pierre Ollier; Philippe Pasquet, CEO, Première Vision SA The Première Vision Conference at the Hyères Festival Sunday 29 April 2012 - 11.30 am - at the Villa Noailles.
