Getting the right look this festival season can be really tricky. Not only is there the dilemma of which clothes to bring, but it is really hard to look fabulous when you are sleeping in a tent, have no real access to facilities, and are living out of a bag. But don't worry... it can be done! Just look at Kate Moss, Kristen Stewart, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!

The staple for any festival going girl is a great pair of ladies shorts. Celebs like Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and Daisy Lowe have made cut-off denim shorts a festival fashion essential, while a great vintage pair can even look great with wellies. Although shorts can be tricky to find, they are the perfect festival garment as they can be worn with your favourite day tops, belts, and even sandals if the sun is shining.

Also make sure that you also pack a stylish playsuit, as they are this season's must-have item. The playsuit really appeals to vintage fashion, and the fantastic New Look range incorporating styles from the 40s, 50s, and 70s. They are also very comfortable and easy to wear, which makes them ideal for festivals.

But to truly embrace the festival spirit, it is essential to bring a fun and striking pair of sunglasses. Sensible does not cut it at a festival, so go big, bright, and colourful. For a great set of festival sunglasses, check out New Look's latest eyewear collection.

For all those fashion conscious male festival-goers, the laidback look is really on trend. So make sure that you bring a couple of good pairs of shorts and trousers, along with some great-looking tees and casual shirts.

The first thing to pack is a pair of dark denim-wash shorts. They are tough, durable, take stains well, and demonstrate a relaxed and effortless style that is ideal for festivals. You can also take a more fitted pair of chino shorts that are really in fashion, and can look smart with a nice short-sleeved shirt. Chino shorts are certainly this year's summer festival essential, and are available from New Look in a range of colours, including camel, red, purple, and yellow.

Finally, for the perfect festival accessory, don't forget to bring your straw trilby hat. They are lightweight, look great, and can cover messy and unwashed hair. They are a true festival essential!

So whether you are heading to Bestival, Creamfields, Secret Garden Party, The Big Chill, or Reading and Leeds, don't forget to look good and feel great this festival season.
