Adore Me expands into swimwear category

Adore Me, the world's first personalized online lingerie styling resource for women, announces an expansion into the swimwear category. With this addition, Adore Me will expand to service clients that need guidance when choosing the swimsuit piece that will both flatter and accentuate the female form.
Swimwear consultations will follow the same winning format as lingerie. Members will take part in a consultation and receive access to a private showroom handpicked by expert stylists.
The showroom is replenished every month, ensuring there are always new and modish pieces to purchase. Furthermore, the swimwear and lingerie are inspired by international design, bringing the best in French, UK, US and Brazilian fashion straight to the Adore Me showrooms.
Co-Founder & CEO Morgan Hermand-Waiche created a business model targeting the boom in women's intimates spending, which currently comprises approximately $11 billion in annual spending, Hosiery for $4.6 billion and Swimwear for $4.2 billion. Growth for the company is currently at 50% per month since launching beta in November 2011.
“Lingerie and swimwear are a crisis resistant industry, meaning that it is steady even during recessions. Adore Me recognized this and launched during one of the largest recessions in US history and saw positive results. With swimwear, we will further expand our presence in women's fashion closets,” shares Mr. Hermand-Waiche.
What makes Adore Me stand out amongst major competitors is the combination of a personalized experience and the fact that lingerie is sold online twice as much than other types of apparel products. Most brick and mortar boutiques have not yet mastered the online selling domain. Adore me recognized this and tapped the void in the market at an affordable price-point.
