Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. unveiled new corporate branding in honor of its 90th anniversary. The branding pays tribute to the company's unwavering position as the leading global maker of innovative, trusted and durable work wear at an incomparable value while representing the brands and global locations within the Williamson-Dickie portfolio.
The new brand mark or logo introduces an interlocking, woven "WD" monogram; the firm's 1922 founding date; a double-stitch graphic honoring apparel design elements; and a contemporary Williamson-Dickie logotype reinforcing the organization's manufacturing roots.
"Dickies has always been our flagship brand," says Philip Williamson, CEO and Chairman of Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. "It's only fitting to commemorate our 90th anniversary – and the business growth, geographic expansion and brand acquisitions we've seen in that time – with a new parent company logo and corporate website. It's our way of marking the next exciting chapters of this storied and iconic company."
Over the course of nine decades, Williamson-Dickie has evolved from the U.S. Overall Company to the Dickies brand; acquired Workrite and Kodiak-Terra; and expanded its business across North America and internationally to Europe, the Middle East, China, Japan, plus exclusive distributorships including South America, Africa and Australia to name a few.
The company's product assortment has seen similar expansion, from bib overalls to U.S. military uniforms in World War II to men's and women's work wear, kids' apparel, footwear and fire resistant clothing. An extensive portfolio of licensing agreements takes the Dickies brand into new categories, including juniors' apparel, hats and cold weather accessories, belts and leather goods, gloves, bags, sunglasses, boys' fashion tops, men's graphic tops, men's and women's loungewear, socks, chef wear, medical wear, automotive accessories and more.
"Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. has seen tremendous growth over 90 years while remaining steadfastly committed to who we are and those we serve," continued Williamson. "It's a responsibility and an honor to be a steward of this company, as well as a part of the legacy for future generations."
Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. is the world's leading provider of authentic work apparel, specializing in innovative performance work wear since 1922.
