InventHelp, America's largest invention submission company announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Washington, has designed apparel that could ensure that Alzheimer/dementia patients aren't able to disrobe to take off an adult diaper. This invention is patented.
The “Advantages-Onez” cotton, one-piece undergarment would include nylon fastener strips along the back and cannot be removed by the wearer. This design could also help to eliminate bed wetting and soiling. Advantages-Onez would help to provide greater independence to the user and peace of mind to the caregiver.
The Advantages-Onez would consist of a one-piece suit that would be producible from soft cotton and available in multiple sizes. Nylon fastener strips would run vertically along the back of the suit.
The strips would be enclosed to keep the suit in place. Once dressed, the user cannot remove the suit by him- or herself.
The caregiver must undo the nylon fastener strips to remove the suit. Advantages-Onez would be producible in a short-sleeved/legged design, as well as different patterns, for spring/summer wear, and winter/fall wear options would also be available.
