ISC's focus on quality, its continually evolving garment technology and proven reputation in developing new and exciting retail ranges for leading rugby clubs in the UK and Australia were highlighted as key motivators in the Tigers' decision to move from its previous apparel partner, Puma.
The three-year deal between the Super League club and ISC includes the provision of on and off field ranges for the first team, affiliated teams and coaching staff as well as the license to provide a full clothing range for Castleford's loyal supporters, including replica kits, training wear and an exclusive shirt for members of a new membership scheme which is currently being developed by the club. The new partnership will also open the door for products from Australian NRL clubs signed with ISC to be made available to fans at the Castleford Tigers shop.
Castleford Tigers' Chief Executive Steve Ferres, said, "We are delighted to announce our new partnership with ISC as we switch our focus to next season. The brand has had proven success with some of our fellow Super League clubs and this is something we are keen to emulate here at the Tigers. We continue to work towards a better and brighter 2013 season with plans for significant changes to be made across the club and this move certainly supports our vision for next season."
Brett Corrick, CEO of ISC added, "ISC are indeed extremely excited to become the official apparel partner to the Castleford Tigers. As an organisation we continue to develop high performance apparel for the world's best athletes, but we also take great pride in developing merchandise ranges for the world's most passionate fans - and fans don't come more passionate than those at Castleford, supporting a traditional rugby league team.
"We look forward to sharing the next stage of their journey and helping them continue to build their brand worldwide."
The Tigers are a British rugby league club who take part in the engage Super League (the elite European club competition) and the famous Carnegie Challenge Cup tournament (longest running knock-out rugby tournament in the world).
Originally formed in Sydney, Australia in 1991, ISC (International Sports Clothing Australia Pty Ltd) has two great obsessions: Producing high performing sports apparel for elite athletes and Sport, sport and more sport!
